Mississippi river
The great Mississippi River winds its way from Lake Itasca in the State of Minnesota all the way to the Gulf of Mexico in the state of louisiana passing through 10 states. The Mississippi is the largest river in the USA and the 4th largest in the world. The Ojibwe people of Northern Minnesota called it ''Messipi'' or The Big River. It was also known as the Mee-zee-see-bee or Father of Waters.
On the above picture you can see the river itself and my route.
